| According to research results at the University College of London children with learning difficulties especially those with specific language impairment (SLI)use different parts of their brains in order to compensate or drive the issues related to grammatical structures. The research also shows that different instructional approaches from teachers has shown that this can help children with SLI overcome grammatical problems. Children therefore with SLI seem to see the world in grammatical terms as slightly different to the rest of thier classmates... interestingly enough there should be someone you know with SLI as the research explains 7% of children suffer from the condition.
