| More foreign language funding for UK schools

| The UK government is to pump an extra 115 million pounds into foreign language learning mainly for primary schools. However the funds will also be used to promote foreign languages within secondary and university institutions.
It seems to be another attempt by the UK government to try and improve the foreign language skills of those in UK state education. The UK is still far behind most of its European partners and clearly needs a more comprehensive strategy.
